Hanging

You still have my name with you,
Hanging.
Reminding.
Everywhere you go.
Yet no one knew.

As you wake in the morning,
Wondering.
Struggling.
Everything to prove,
People never knew.

All you asked was to wait,
Trying.
Going
Nowhere but back
Somewhere you once knew.

And all the while I just am,
Waiting.
Hoping.
For you to do
Everything I knew.

You still have my name with you,
Everywhere you go,
Yet no one knew,
That I, too, have your name with me.
Reminding. Hanging.
