Hands Off the Wheel

I sipped on a hard drink It made my senses sink I was trying to drown my troubles But with every sip I found new levels I called out for the tab To keep the count, not to bolt the pub But I saw my own life on the bill I saw my heirs scripted on my will I saw death crouching for the car key A speed demon up for the thrill When I saw life smiling at me in a taxi I decided keep my hands off the wheel
