Hands
each finger intertwined
palms touching
veins bulging from our wrist
clasped together in desire
a moment uninhibited
so intimate a gesture
hand holding
as kids crossing the road
it felt safe
as pubescent teens
signaling a crush
with a soul mate
sharing life
exploring and learning
every inch of the other
with each finger tip
time passed
with wrinkles and scars
joined in passion
of a different complexion
having lived meshed
like intertwined fingers
