Handed My Life

Handed my Life

In the middle of the universe-here I stand.
All by myself.
My new life in hand.

I am no longer yours.
I am finally free.
Cut from your control.
I am finally ME.

You never did like me.
You never did care.
You beat me down.
My soul you would tare.

Starting to heal and seeing the light
I want to smile and longer fight.

I enjoy feeling love and no longer hate.
A much different feeling, a much different state.

In the middle of the universe-here I stand.
Now embracing my life I clench in my hand.
