Hand of God

Hand of God

I found a pencil
I found a page
Blank enough for you to see
Blank enough for me
Who knows to what length one man can go
Or how long it will take to get him there…
And even though I have family as foundation
I am not solid as that stone
More or less
A grain of sand
That’s fleeting through the fingers
Of the giant Hand of God
