Hand In Hand

I'm
Coming home
I'm
Coming home
Finally
Spending my
Last two Christmases
Away from home
I've travelled
Far
I've grown
Thicker skin
I appreciate
More
Since
The last Christmas
I was home
I've loved
I've despaired
I've learned
To appreciate
Not what's
Under the tree
But who's
Hand in hand
Around the tree
With me
Holding me tight

"I've grown thicker skin" - what a lovely touch to a lovely poem!
