Hand

HAND Nine months by the hand of mother natures clock Our first born child will finally know and understand Why I went to such great lengths to land Her mothers hand , My beautiful wife , the love of my life With whom I chose to breed Fulfils my every waking need With you in mind , I chose only the very best to feather your nest Trust me when I say your mother blew away the Rest For her affection there never any contest From the moment of your conception You will share in the love which I have been blessed

I think your wife and child will be thrilled to have the verse for the rest of their lives. I think it's touching! And that's what we poets want to be & do TOUCH folks hearts. (take out the 9 LOL NINE) (duck)

Children are such great blessings and responsibilities... they are our trials and triuimphs... this reads a little like rhyme a little like free verse...so maybe list as verse .. a poet needs to know his form... and do u need an 'l' in your last line for blessed? a beautiful expression of your pride in being the Father of a gracious daughter..now take her name and write a poem..and enter it in Constance's contest ...good luck my friend.. with luv..
