Halloween Night

Halloween night had many monsters walking in sight
Some super heroes, and a clumsy sword-wielding knight
there goes a ghoul who is dressed in pink rather than white
I am walking past a vampire with a huge overbite

None of these creatures are causing me a bit of fright
my fear is at bay, trick-or-treating is my main plight
Here comes my nemesis dressed in a faerie dress too tight
Gloating a bit that it makes her choices look less than bright

I almost knew that cowboy, but does he really have that height?
Maybe he is wearing lifts in his boots, his limp is quite slight
Allowing Frankenstein to pass, I move a bit to the right
There is an orange suited man trying to insurrection incite

I steer around him, there are more important things to smite
A large Hershey bar calls to me and I take a big bite
Here comes a familiar ballerina, my neighbor, always uptight
Who let you out on fright night? She says; she can be a blight.
