Halloween Haiku

Triple Haiku 5,7,5 -- 5,7,5 -- 5,7,5 Evil brews, no rules, looming witches ride their brooms, demon eyed ghouls drool. Potions have been brewed, voodoo dolls alter my mood. Serial killers. Vampires, Ware-wolves, Kruger and Micheal Meyers, stalking to retire.. ***Note*** This is an edit of my original Random Thoughts *49* Haiku--Tanka--Haiku... Jared Pickett Asavvy1 9/8/2010

Please keep these predators away from the little ones. Kruger has always been especially frightening with those long nails. I think you did a good job rewriting your original into a triple haiku. Have a great day, Jared. Best wishes, Carolyn

Neat poem! Hate to think of kids roaming around with witches and serial killers on the loose. Werewolves and vampires along with Freddie and Meyers - wow, that's a lot to take in. I'll stay home on Halloween!

I am almost certain this poem will not place because it lacks power, it lacks the savvy feel that you are all used to.... This is more for "Sweethearts" enjoyment, and my willingness to stay within her guidelines.... The Tanka in the center stanza sets the poem off... Please read the poem noted at the end.......:JP]
