Halloween

I chose to make it sad
You're the best I ever had
I couldn't make it right
Why did I never fight?
How could I face the truth?
Those wasted days of youth
I had no streaming dreams
Reruns of former gleam
So make a case of my mistakes
Store them all with dated fakes
No longer need those tired lies
All you saw was my disguise
Hard to think I'm letting down
The ones who cared; who stuck around
Can't keep selling the lies you see
A man disguised is never free
So who is this, the mirror now?
I cannot say but fear's allowed
Just take your time to find the words
We'll figure out which lines are blurred
