Halloween
Halloween is said to be All Hallows eve
Some say it's a pagan festival if they don't believe
It is believed originally to be from the celts.
As the candle in your pumpkin melts
A gaelic festival samhain the end of harvest
Not intentionaly macabre but more a feast
Halfway between the autumn equinox and winter solstice
It's also the word for November for the Irish
Trick or treating originates in the states
Where children go out begging with mates
Dressed up in costumes that can be scary
However some dress up as the little fairy
They hope to get lots of sweets
That only happens if they get treats
No longer do you see any tricks
Imagination of jack o lanterns and burning sticks
The jack o lantern used to ward away evil
Or some say it's to help the passed people
Navigation to the holy place
Hence why you must cover your face
Lots of food and candy gained
Beware if you should abstain
The evil spirits will deceive
If those children don't receive
Dedicated to saints(hallows) and martyrs
The dead trapped just for starters
If your unsure what I mean
This is the true meaning of HALLOWEEN
