Halloween
Upstairs in the attic loud and louder creaks were heard
Weird moaning pierced the silence from the basement below
Floating past the window a phantom had us all scared
While in the graveyard vampirish bats did flit and glow
Overhead the moon pale and large shed its spectral light
As skeletons did from their tombs and slumbers arise
Just another Halloween night of terrors and of fright
Where the cackling witch flew off with her human sacrifice
