Heidi Sands Poet Acrostic

Halloween

(H)appy jack-o’-lanterns are smiling
(A)pples are coated with caramel
(L)ively kids are in costumes eating candy
(L)aughter can be heard in the streets
(O)pen doors bring tricks or treats
(W)itches are seen riding brooms
(E)very sound can be startling
(E)specially when it’s suddenly, BOO!
(N)ight-time ghosts are waiting for you
