Hallowed Dusk
An evening wanes
over the hills
to trail away,
far from sight...
my eyes observe
a hallowed dusk
evanescing
into the mist,
as clouds are flushed
with hints of rose
lavender,
and mild orange,
that petals drop
bowed silhouettes
into a dreamy
afterglow.
This mystic breath
carries me high,
on twilight's crown--
a quiet ripple
when nothing
but the grace of lull,
ascends through
skyline’s dome...
while my essence
blazes a flow
kindling inner calm;
till dawn greets
eventide...halfway.
