I hope you like this Birthday Card It cost me almost £3.50 And took me over 10 minutes to pick I didn't know whether to go with the sentiment classy or funny But then it eventually dawned on me It doesn't matter which 1 i choose Or the message i write inside Because sadly you have heard all my appologies and excuses over a 1000 times before That is why i plumed for this 1 And all it says is simply Happy Birthday This 1 never got lost in the mail I never forgot at a mates house or a pub Or arrived posthumously after your actual Birthday This 1 won't cost you This 1 won't hurt you This Card is merely just simply to say A genuine Happy Birthday to you Sorry i was never actually there for you Sorry for never ever making you feel special on your Birthday Sorry for being an emotional retard But mostly i am sorry for the fact This card will end up un-read in your dustbin Because when all is said and done Life and Birthdays should be spent with loved ones Not with has been emotional debts and regrets
