Half a Century

Half a century's gone by
Spent apart, you and I.
Where have all those years gone?
Please don't give me that yawn!

Now, none of us have stayed the same
While playing our parts in this great game.
Some have reaped and some have sown
And some have simply really grown!

But none of us could ever forget
The ones into our hearts we let.
No matter where, no matter when
We always knew we'd meet again!
