Hairs of My Head

In God's word we are told
From the prophets of old
That even the hairs
On our head are numbered
What an awesome being

That would care enough
To know when I grow old
As the hairs begins to fall
Keep tract of the fact

That even the hairs
Of my head are numbered
That means for you
Yours are numbered too

(I can't even keep count of the ones falling out.)(Idea from the "Bible" Matthew
10:30.) Maybe free verse tell me if I am wrong.

a great poem Sarah, it is true he knows every thing about us and loves us much, my son james was in a car crash last week and had a scratch to his leg of his seat belt and a bruise came up later on his chest of the seat belt but other than that he was fine, he came home from his real dads with every single hair strand still in tact, how great is that and the car has had to be written off but james remains unhurt, God bless you from diane

Thank you for the comments on my postings. I'm incarcerated looking to get my "name" out there in the poetry world. It's a huge passion. A powerful way to express oneself. My best friend mediates for me since I am currently incarcerated. Thanks again for telling others about my work. Jimmy

Thank you for your comment, Sara. Now I feel easier. Yes, l do know that problem. Isn't it a pity sometimes that things change. Loss of hair is just one of it. Keep on writing! Gert

Should be free verse, Sara. Why are you losing hair? Are you sick? And if so, I do cross fingers that everything will turn out good for you. Thank you for your hearty comment on "Out of the Blue". Pls comment also my poem "So far". Keep on writing! Gaert
