Haircut

Before today, the last time Was on February third. I looked a mess; if you had seen me You would have concurred. For shorter hairdos need a trim More often than the long. That in-between length somehow looks Just ultra flat-out wrong! But now that my reflection, Which the mirror does display, Looks a whole lot more familiar, I must cover up the gray!

I get this; I made my 17 year old granddaughter cut my hair with a razor last week. She did not want to, so I said "watch this," Then I picked up a hunk of hair from the back and sliced it right off. "You cannot even see back there!" she shrieked. "Exactly!" I said, which convinced her to do a haircut.

One advantage of growing up "country" is women are seen as they are. My mother had beautiful silver-white hair in her 40s, and earned it all. Your appearance is what you earned - like military campaign badges, so be proud of them! Aloha! Rico

I do not like long hair on men, never have. I cut my own when necessary and keep it cropped close to the skull. Your 2nd stanza is just as true for women as it is for men, by-the-way. As for gray hair, I've had it since my early 30s. Now if I had the face to go with it I'd be happy. Thanks for the stop by. / Maurice
