Anne-Lise...you describe so easily what we see all around us at this time of year. Your work is such a pleasure to read. I live how this poem starts in such a moving fashion. It's something very creative and unusual. Smiles!!

My mom’s flowers from her funeral were sunflowers. I brought them home and watched them fade. Great haiku.
