Zen garden glimpse;
Monkey mind silent

Dead brown clusters;
Transitory brief

Walkway commotion
Naughty child screams;
Miniature dog barks

Limping old lady
Struggles with pain;
Wobbly knees bent

Coming and going
So much fanfare;
Traffic detour

Birdsong anthem
Morning interlude;
Timely dawn hymnal

Work on words
Craft conspires;
Printing business

Coffee escapade
Mocha or espresso;
Bitter addiction

Nicotine fix
Swirling smokescreen;
Carcinogen flashpoint

To be
And yet;
Unbecoming

Listen now
Outrage here;
Chaotic bankrupt

Knowing truth
Blindness cures;
Ignorance hides

Words empty
Try living;
No one cares

Holiday tryst
So much wonder;
Wander exploits sight

Another year older
Not much wiser;
Birthday party
