A sacred space

Stray birds sing;
Window ledge chorus

Busy streets
Winding into nightfall;
Moonlight lady

Chinatown buzz
Mid-autumn festival;
Tea and moon cakes

Hazy skyline
Smell of distant burning;
Choking sensations

Work on words
Haiku fragments curl;
Profound moments

Feel of moist air
Cool breeze signals;
