Cold rain outside

Blank gaze hollow

Cat day dreaming;
Walkway bench

Page leaves
Ink stains dry;
Verse scripts curl

Family meal
Loving hands set;
Soul food spread

Headache pains
Pin pricks poke;
Throbbing hits

Promises bloom
Orange orchard spree;
Harvest awaits

Window view
Monsoon rains pour;
Wet and wild

Musical box
Old time melody;
Pirouette dancer
