This reminds me of dark chocolate (Belgian, of course ;-) ): initially it registers as bitter on your tongue but the longer it stays, the happier you are that it did. :-)

When most poets write, they tend to look to the 'complex', trying to give their writing that 'wow' effect. That is a mistake that you didn't fall into. I write a lot of Haiku's and have fallen into that trap many times. I view this work as a way to describe 'writers block' (which we have all had), but you did it in a simple way. That was the brilliance of this write. To write a Haiku about a complex subject and do it in a simple way, takes mad talent and you have it. Excellent write. S.R

This is nice. I stopped writing poetry long ago coz it is ' mistaken writing' but you just continue writing the sweet haikus, please don't stop
