a true haiku! Many attempt the form but few achieve it--great 1st line--and the 3rd line indicates you're British [i.e., 'color' spelled with an 'u']?

You are right, Darlene! Flowers that grow in tropical countries are often big and brightly coloured - I imagine that they are like the colours of the lava flowing from volcanoes - bright red and orange!
