HAIKU

the land rises  

an earthquake moves a mountain

barren waste

man-made pollution

the sixth mass extinction

new life evolves

~

boiling oceans

arctic wastelands melting

      troubled polar bears

~

new life evolving

will mars be resurrected

dreamland visited

~

super nova

kills silently

vaporisation

~

golden meadows

wind whispers

country dancing

~

seasonal singing

oceans raging… surfers surf

the lone wolf howls

~

whales blowing

albatross glide forever

natural happenings

~

smoke inhaled

wrapped in paper

slow death

~

hunger moon

torturous February

deep snow

~

painted ladies

a wonder… a butterfly

beauty on parade

~

toad

in the hole

yummy

~

life

biological

diversity

~

confounded

every way but which way

nature lost

~

bright red frogs

natures warning… danger

eat… you will croak too
