Haiku- Childhood Memory
childhood memory
in a country field of gold-
birds chase me away
childhood memory
of lush emerald green ferns-
frogs leap and I run
childhood memory
of sweet coolness in the woods-
flies chase me away
childhood memory
and fields of yellow daisies-
bees buzzing wildly
childhood memory
of soft pink roses blooming-
a thorn makes me bleed
childhood memory
of tall wild flowers swaying-
they tickle my legs
childhood memory
of gathering the fall leaves-
a chipmunk runs by
childhood memory
nature lovely to recall-
birds tweet as I write
