WOW, I still remember when you gave me a great haiku years ago ( did I convince you to enter one of my contests?) I just remember you doing one that I was so impressed with. You have true talent with haiku and this shows it.

The modern/contemporary haiku...is like the traditional haiku but with less than 17 syllables... :)..(5/7/5)..Glad you like it dear friend.

There is a certain sadness woven into the beauty of this piece. Pressed between the last pages...I can truly feel this poem Charmaine. Though a memory that today may be sad will hopefully be one that creates a smile later on in life. Absolutely beautiful.
