As was common among the Japanese, one's haiku often called for a response. More common with tanka but this is delightful and I will reply: pail full of berries / sits far behind on the path / along with the snake

Ahh!! Enjoyed reading this one today..I am glad that I chose it to read..I can remember going to try to pick a few wild blackberries or dewberries..Those cobblers were wonderful made from the berries..Sara
