Haiku 91

autumn leaves now fall
the hazy shades of summer
gone without a trace

birds sitting on trees
colourful leaves on the ground
short supply of food

Animals seem to cope better than people. These are lovely Phil. I am finally back to enjoying poetry. It has been a rough year and a half. I hope you are well my friend? Blessings xxoo

Well, is there a shortage of food for the birds or the humans or both? I enjoyed reading this one. Is there a shortage of bird seed along with so much other items which are sitting on boats out in the ocean waiting to be unloaded. Thanks for the visit to my page. Sara

I hope their will not be a shortage of food for humans or animals this year. Those boats sure need to get unloaded or we may have a lot of empty shelves. Thanks for your comment. love phyl

Hello Phyllis, yes it is the short supply of food this time of year for the birds and squirrels. Hugs.

Hello Phyllis, you are welcome. Yes that is why the squirrels are rushing about hiding their food. Love, Darlene
