THis one very vividly shown. One of the best of the bird haiku! Maybe it could work in Linda's season senryu contest as summer entry (she has it titled senryu but in reality, she is asking for Haiku) Go figure!

Once upon a time haiku was predominantly the domain of male poets. We can see that is no longer the case with this magnificent haiku competition in which the top 8 places went to women. They got it because they earned and deserved it. I was beaten out, fair and square. Congratulations on being only one of two males to finish in the top ten. Yea Sean! :) -ED-
