Love this style . Haiku is an awesome style and you made it sound awesomer by your simple words (that expose inspiration to the public). This sounds like you had a relaxing day that day. Calming poem and I like it very much. :) DWB

I used to have the biggest stuffed animal collection (sometimes I miss the feelings I got from it... though "unmanly" to admit... lol). A good description of home, methinks! A familiar friend who's always there... good haiku!

Two hearts in kind wont seem to mind when distance is in trust. An hour or two until your due. And arms around you thrust.

Hey Harry...so good to see ya...thanks! Maybe the custom of leaving an extra house key hidden under a stone or something is only customary around here...

That's not necessarily a child's teddy bear though...because I have a teddy bear in our room that my wife gave me for my birthday one year...I keep it in the room to remind me of our romance that we share with one another! Ok, yeah, I usually sleep with it...don't tell anyone but I'm a softy! I know, does that make me any less of a man that I love my teddy bear...from my wife? This poem is awesome Donna, I really loved reading it this evening! What a delightful piece, Great Work!!
