shooting across sky lost in immense distance a short lived wish Or falling across sky fading quicker than its light my unheard wish Or a falling star nothing left but darkness

Finally getting to your new haiku. Good as always! Have you tried switching out the middle lines of 1 and 2? #2 grabs me that way. Just a thought.

How awesome it is to read your stuff again, let alone seeing your awesome name leaving comments on my work. Fantastic! :) I'm always open for a good piece about the constellations. Great set of Haikus!

Charmaine, I do like shooting stars myself. Isn't it funny how they can symbolize so many different things? I love this work. May your wishes come true! Perhaps the unheard wish of the second of these three is because the wish was not yet heard so well inside yourself. That is why the second one is special in its own right! Sometimes I want something and don't really know it or the wish inhabits only part of my being. Anyway--just a thought provoking poem. Thanks

I love the idea of these. My favorites are one and three. Can't really decide between them. But I just don't like the second as well as those two. Maybe the first is the best. How are you, Charma? Happy Easter to you!
