Haiku 17: Fog Noise

fog -- deep, wet, THICK – h a n g s

      s-o-l-i-t-u-d-e abounds -- I

                                                                                   long to hear your voice

I usually go back to sleep when it's foggy -- safer that way!

Fog can feel other worldly when immersed in its shroud...disconnected from those we long for. Wonderfully conveyed in your poem David!

Thank-you Connie, it is always more fun to be "shrouded" in the fog with someone you love.

David, I think you captured the solitude reality exceedingly well with image essence of the "thick fog." I enjoyed your Haiku write here very much. A "7" too from me. Cheers, Gary
