Haiku 15 Wind Rain

wind rain -- greet me, your
                     laugh -- quick, bright . . . tears sorrowful
                                                                             cleansing is your love

David, I really like the message of your Haiku here. The Wind and Rain do have the cleansing and spiritual effect (unless they're associated a hurricane, tornado, etc.). Then, the effect is different. I noticed you've written a number of these types of writes. I will have to read more of them!! Please drop by to check out my poetry as well. I've been with PoetrySoup since August 9th this year. Much Luck and Success . . . Cheers, Gary

A the country western song says, " . . rain is a good thing!" May you always find a warm bed and a frisky woman on cold rainy nights!!

I love this Haiku, you made me think of my oldest granddaughter when she came for a visit from Lake Havasue City Arizona. I guess they get no rain there that when we had a rain shore she stood out in the rain enjoying herself , eve

That makes me feel very good! I live in Texas and it does not rain often but when it does, it's like an old friend coming to visit. All the best.

Love Haiku, in fact, all the oriental poetry forms move me. Even the satire. If we are not moved by nature, we simply do not know God.
