I had never heard of Haiku poems before I started writing here at PS. - Found some facts about Haiku poems online and think it sounded exciting. - I have not written a lot, but it's fun to write haiku - I like it too. - You're good, Jack, I like yours haiku very well. - Have a nice new week, it's yours! - oxox / / Anne-Lise :)

Thanks... It looks like it will be a good week. The same to you. I discovered when reading about haiku that the 5-7-5 syllable structure is Westernized, and that in Japanese it depends on other emphases which I don't understand. J

Thanks. I didn't realize how much I enjoyed haiku until I joined the soup. I like the abstraction, the hinting. I also like free verse. I'm not smart enough to do decent rhymes, and am envious of those who are. J
