Ominous but lush little haiku, Heather. I really like the contrast between the brooding clouds (which I see as slow and looming) and the swift camera flash of the lighting.

Well, it looks like I will have to be the first person to comment on this haiku. I wonder if people will copy my words or say the same thing. Your picture here is bigger than life. A powerful thunderstorm threatens. I like this poem and the picture it evokes. It is rather hard for me to identify the feeling that went into this poem, but I can definitely sense feeling. I think that is what makes haiku good.
