whippoorwill
trills a
song

larks
in trees
sing along

croaking frogs

This is brilliant Andrea. I never got past creating even one. It is almost 2am and I have been having so many problems with the ads blocking by view I can't read the poems. I hope they can fix it soon. I know this will be high on the winner's list! : )

I love it. You're playing my favourite song Andrea. I SO miss the sound of the whippoorwill. Good luck in the contest! xomo

Andrea I did the exact same thing with mine - I went 123 then 321 and found I couldn’t resist making it rhyme! It wasn’t as good as this though so I haven’t entered it... maybe I’ll see if I can tweak it up. I love the word “whippoorwill”! Another PS word discovery...

that was so nice of you to say, Caren. I've always felt that what I lack in imaginative imagery i make up for with meter!

Stimulating work here. New type of short poem is good to see! The rhymes are clever. In Brooklyn - where I went for a reading last night - we devised the 9 1 1 poem. Peace & Love Matthew Anish
