Hades

Hades

Death I saw passing by my neighborhood the other day

Some souls to harvest

Intrigued by his austere appearance I approached him and asked:

"Why oh you mighty, Hades, we mortals terrified are at your presence?"

"Because of your ignorance", He enigmatically replied.

Hello Demetrios, "Hades," huh?? And not the Old English Old Hob type of the Devil with horns and all!! I'm equally sure that Hades himself would be quite austere and frightening!! Excellent Personification here for sure!! Best, Gary

I thought this write to be exemplified by your tremendous style! To see death is very frightening, but to see Hades would be deathly fearsome! I loved this incredible poem here my friend! You have pleased my senses again Demetrios! What a grandiose piece, Great Work!!

My dearest friend, Russell, when I think of Hades I do not feel any fear because we cannot escape his realm so why to be afraid? Thank you for your well constructed observations and comments my friend!

Hi my friend, this must be your 1701 - And it's so correct. Loved the way you have personalized the 'unseen One' out of Greek mythology. Love it...Maria xx
