Had To Try

Something inside of me fills up my body but I
...can't explain this feeling of a hand tugging me with a loose grasp yet I KNOW
that every time we spend a moment with one another it can't be good for me or YOU
yet I stride along side to not miss a beat of your days events but I could feel my WILL
loosen it's grip and cascade down the floor as in telling without sound the word NEVER
could I strengthen myself to be with this man again, but I did CHOOSE
choose to be tousled and bemused and pleasant, forgiving, confused ME
but o how those moments came that feathers gently touched my heart BUT
they came and went, replaced by unwelcome still breaths heavy on my neck and I
shouldn't want this urge to heed this nonexistent hurting relationship but I HAD
this expectation that blinded my mind and gave vision to my eyes that I had something TO
look forward too...but I knew better, deep down it reside, but yet I still had to TRY...
