Had I Believed

Bewildered and frightened I took a wrong turn
I asked everyone what do I do
It was my Heavenly Mother who answered my cry
My dear child She said, "It's all up to you!"

But I listened with haste and again turned away
The demands of this life once again took their hold
Then with song I heard a faint voice call my name
"My dear child", she said, "You must take control"

This time I listened and I knew I could be
The child she commanded, yes now I could see
She showed the path I just had to believe
I could follow His trail and yes it was all up to me
