H20
I'm always thirsty and never hungry
Had water for breakfast
And ice for lunch,
Yesterdays' weather was stormy
To day a rainy night,
And it rains and rains
Mother nature cooking supper for me,
From mates storming out
To dreams flooding in,
A mud slide
As water runs down my brown skin
Deep within my spine,
Neurons reconnecting
"Splash" as they swift through nerves;
Hitting my membranes,
Bursting out of nerve endings!
As I perceive a newer light,
Living in a second life
Drinking water out the fountain of youth,
Regaining eternal life,
