Gypsy Dreams

Swirling skirts, colorful shirts, golden earrings, gypsy dreams. Violins sing to dancing scenes. Big brown eyes and tamborines. Campfires and stars glow in the night. Bangles and beads jingle and excite. Whistles and whips, shouts of joy, flutes and accordians add to the noise. Happy voices sing of days gone by, echoing passion in a dark blue sky. It really takes you there, I could imagine sitting around the campfire, singing and dancing, as all join in. /|\

You really got it! Isn't that the most facinating imagining? I wish I had been a gypsy...lol (Maybe I was in another life. Who knows?)

After reading this fun poem, I feel as if I just came from a gypsy camp. I could see the horse drawn wagon, gypsies with bandanas, drinking and dancing around a big campfire. Great descriptive writing Carole. I enjoyed this very much.

This trips happily along like a gypsy dance, Carole! You paint a lovely image as music and song fill the night sky. Love the ending! Regards // paul

Thank you, Paul. I love dancing and music and I think I'm a gypsy at heart.
