Gypsy

Gypsy soul come talk to me
Whisper in my ear
Tell me all your stories
As I hold you near

Tell me why you wonder so
Leaving heartache when you leave
Though you try to be so tough
I see your eyes they weep

Is it someone you lost long ago
Why you fear to love
Or are you afraid you'll lose yourself
So you throw those walls up

You hide behind a selfish heart
With the world it should be shared
You always reek havoc wherever you land
Conquering over every man

Listen closely gypsy
Hear what words I say
Settle down and open up
Let all loves magic in

Than maybe you will see
That even through conviction
You can find peace and love
And still be gypsy free
