soaring ever higher now
following instinct

oh, I like how you think about my haiku's subject, had not thought of it in this way:) I was fascinated by the gull's gracefulness in flight!

A Haiku teacher said that Haiku was something that readers could interpret without the writer's permission. Ha ha ha ha

In the life consultation of the newspaper, a famous female writer in Japan answered to the worried person that lost in her way of life, “Even birds and insects go in the direction that they want to . So live as you like. ” I remembered that when I read this poem .

Sara, as I sat on the back deck (either last summer or the previous one) I watched a gull do this and it was wonderful to watch! Graceful, effortless and this inspired the write. Thank you for the kind words. Find I'm inspired by nature very often!
