GUITAR LOVE

I have no name or reason, gone are bone and flesh. My uncuffed spirit beats a raw passionate crest when guitar riffs stroke my soul's divine ache afresh. To my core I become high and healings blaze in my chest. Tunes spin vibrations that ignite deeply inside me. While I dance vivacious sounds sooth my soul within and melt me adrift to lift me in gifted feels of free. Music mends to transcend me beyond human skin.

It is said that music "heals the savage beast" and, as you describe so beautifully, it can raise sad spirits. You have a wonderful quality to your writing style, CayCay. It flows beautifully and gently. I'm sure this entry will do well in the contest. Wishing you success! Carolyn

The right band, right song and I'm gone to church. Talking rock n roll mainly. I've also been known to stand up and dance at church, too. Then there's my own living room. Poets love words, at least this one does, so lyrics alone can captivate me. Add the right guitar sounds and I'm high. You too, huh? So glad you commented, good to see you. Poetry hugs ... CayCay
