The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Guilty- Head In the Sand

Sometimes the dialogue I have with my ostrich-like self
drums on the door of the closed minded truth
Rewriting, revising, shoved back on the shelf
life's turbulent reality starts shaking things loose

No matter, how hidden, how deeply they are buried
my conscience determines to shovel them out
The child inside me, denies what is often re-storied
but can't deafen the voice, when reality shouts

ostrich-like self oh that reminds me of " the camel-neck silence " from a poem in Bengali. That " turbulent reality" really sucks. Great one as usual. Love Carrie. for your charm and allure, a great thank you.>>> rajat
