Guilt Is Justice

I am the cruel angel, as you kneel before my feet,
With a stone-made frown of justice set to make you feel defeat.
You are in my mercy, and oh how I gloat as you beseech,
A hopeful upward glance at a place just out of reach-
My throne, my pedestal, my clouds of careless mercy.
Guilt is justice, and in its hands crime shall be.
