Guardian Angel

I was only eight years old When the angles came And took my best friend away At the time I didn't understand Why she had to go I guess they needed angels Up in heaven Through the years I felt Her presence by my side Perhaps she went to heaven To be my guardian angel When things had become rough And I wanted to give up A whispered voice in the wind Told me, "I'm here with you" I looked up to the sky As a tear slid down my cheek I'm thankful to have her As my guardian angel in loving memory of Tina Corey
