Grumpy Succesful Woman
There cries a woman who feels unloved and forlorn,
Just because what she loved was hurt and gone;
This woman always wanted things to go her way –
And her attitude always drove her loved ones away.
She is bossy, egotistical and a little bit too proud,
She has money, fame and her character a bit too loud;
She used to think everything revolved around her,
And now all she can ever say is that life is not fair.
From where can she get solace when what she loved she lost?
Yet she bargains with God and prays with her fingers crossed –
To be successful with money and all, but leading a loveless life,
Renders her grumpy and amputates her soul with a lovelorn knife;
O this woman, whether loved or not, she used to pretend never to care,
But now that she needs that love, that love is no longer there.
