Grudge Fudge

GRUDGE FUDGE

I never bear grudges, and I never bear ill,
For these unwanted feelings, can easily spill,
Out of control and seep into our souls,
Destroy our long term dreams and goals,
If we lean towards this, wish it away with will.

A grudge like hate will eat away at the person who is doing the grudging and hating and the person who is hated or did something to cause a grudge probably doesn't have clue it is going on. A very good way to express the idea of this emotion. /We are human and sometimes we do things that are not the best for us, but I hope everyone that does comes to terms with the emotions, and handles them in the correct way. Thanks for stopping by my page. Sara

It takes an enlightened mind to realize no one benefits when ill will is allowed to fester. It would be wise to take this message to heart, Jennifer. Nicely stated! Best wishes, Carolyn

My sentiments exactly, Jennifer, I too don't or my soul won't let me. I guess it's God at the back door keeping me in check. Hugs dear friend

Peanut is doing much better , thanks to the good Lord. I just feel guilty when he sits and watches me eat. He is so use to getting table scraps and he is not allowed to have any fat. I stopped the seizure pills because the vet thought that might have started it. Thank you for asking

Hi Line, i think if we could all try to forgive, for we are all human and some people do aggravate us to beyond distraction, if we can ignore them, it would make our body soul and mind much happier an healthier. Poetry hugs, Jennifer.

A grudge is a burden you don't need for sure, it soon wears you down in the end. Always be the better person. Tom.

It certainly does Tom, until you feel as bad as the actual grudge that you have against someone. Ignore the incident and try to ignore that it ever happened! Poetry hugs, Jenny.

When you bear a grudge it's like carrying a rock uphill. The longer y9ou carry it the heavier it gets and the only person you hurt is yourself. Nice job. God Bless, JB
